About the project

The assignment focuses on the preparation of a historical and constructive study of the building as well as its restitution to obtain the plans of the original state

The Xalet del Catllaràs was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí i Cornet. Eusebi Güell and Bacigalupi commissioned it to house engineers from the Serra del Catllaràs mines, from which the mineral used to feed the furnaces of the Asland cement factory in Clot del Moro was extracted, the 4th cement factory built in Spain in 1901.
