A house located in the old town of l'Escala is transformed into a flexible home that can accommodate from one to three families, depending on the needs of each moment.
The ground floor of the house was an old workshop that required artificial light to work. The new proposal recovers the construction tradition and opens a large skylight that naturally illuminates and ventilates the entire house.
The first floor becomes a two-bedroom apartment with bright and airy spaces.
The second floor is widened generating a double-height living room with sea views. The multifunctional space under deck built with industrialized wood can be used as a room or study and allows access to the terrace overlooking the bay of Roses, protected from the north wind.
