supra-reciclaje de los residuos como materia prima en el nuevo diseño (reducción del 30% las emisiones de CO2 según ACV)
The uses of the program are optimized by adapting the most relevant spaces
OPTIMIZATION OF USES ADAPTING THE SPACES
The new double-height main entrance monumentalizes the building and establishes a porch space for interior-exterior transition, in contact with the public square, which allows noble access.
The theater of the house, which requires darkness, is moved from the upper floor to the underground and thus frees up a multipurpose room with natural lighting, views and more versatility on the second floor.
On the floor, the activity is distributed with the purpose of facilitating the usability of the citizens, simplifying routes and the interior recognition. The activity is located in the center and on the sides are the service spaces where the vertical communication cores such as stairs and elevators will be.
FLEXIBILITY, SUSTAINABILITY AND CIRCULARITY IN PURE STATE
The theater located in the basement has retractable stands giving great versatility to the space. Additionally, by burying the room, it is equipped with an acoustic improvement by protecting it from external acoustic pollution.
A good air conditioning and ventilation is achieved with a mixed system of passive contribution and renewable sources.
The multipurpose room gains views of the church as a backdrop. It is equipped with retractable partitions to facilitate compartmentalization, if necessary.
The exterior of the building is covered with a skin of proximity ceramic tile with a triple function: thermal, visual comfort and architectural.
Through Canadian wells, the air is recirculated inward, increasing or reducing the temperature up to 5 ºC.
It is chosen to use construction waste as raw material in the new design, reducing CO2 emissions by 30% in the life cycle analysis (LCA).
Water consumption is reduced by 25% through the control of the water cycle.
The previous strategies contribute to the building being compatible with 4 rating sheets of the Green Building Council Spain (GBCe).
