Lighting the tradition and use of solar energy at the same time has been used to design simple but efficient solar housing refurbishment in Sabadell.
Lighting with natural light all day and all living spaces, the restructuring of the traditional ventilation courtyard as a solar chimney and solar facade designed as re-interpretation of the Single house “Portal” of Sabadell make possible the natural cooling of the housing without fuel input and consumption values for heating, hot water and lighting are equivalent to a passive house and almost zero energy consumption, NZEB.
