Jean Piaget

ROA won the national architecture competition for the rehabilitation of the Jean Piaget’s public facility, launched in 2017 by the Sabadell City Council. After two years of intense design work and municipality regulations procedures, the on going construction works started in January 2020.

Jean Piaget’s rehabilitation is a clear commitment to a circular economy strategy, in its reuse of the existing materials as a source of resource for the new rehabilitation’s design, in obtaining the nZEB certification (nearly Zero Energy Building) and in the implementation of biophilic and bioclimatic architecture principles, as basis for the healthiest indoor and outdoor spaces regarding to an optimized rating cost/benefit.
